On the afternoon of August 13th, the "2025 Xiangyang Aviation Industry High-Quality Development Overseas Talents Exchange Conference" was successfully held at the Hubei University of Technology Industrial Research Institute (Phase II of Science and Technology City). Hosted by the Xiangyang Sub-center for Science and Technology Achievement Transformation of China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) and the CAST Overseas Intellectual Resources Work Base (Xiangyang High-Tech Zone), the conference was organized by the High-Tech Zone Entrepreneurship Service Center. With the theme of "Gathering Wisdom for Aviation · Designing the Future", it brought together top experts from home and abroad—including Academician Zheng Gangqiang of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences—and representatives of key enterprises in the aviation industry chain to jointly explore innovative paths for the high-quality development of Xiangyang's aviation industry.

At the conference, Academician Zheng Gangqiang delivered a keynote speech titled "Strategic Scientific Design Empowers High-Quality Development of Aviation Enterprises". From strategic perspectives such as design industrialization and innovation chain construction, he provided forward-looking guidance and practical strategies for the high-quality development of Xiangyang's aviation industry, bringing systematic development ideas to local enterprises.

As a representative of provincial-level specialized, refined, differential and innovative enterprises nurtured by the High-Tech Zone, Hubei Maideli Aviation Materials Technology Co., Ltd. demonstrated its innovative strength on site. The company's independently developed "civil aviation inflatable life jacket" technology meets stringent international standards and has been favored by China Southern Airlines, Air China, as well as airlines from Russia, India and other countries—highlighting the global competitiveness of enterprises in the High-Tech Zone.

As an important achievement of the conference, the overseas talent expert team successfully signed strategic cooperation agreements with key enterprises in the zone, namely Hubei Maideli Aviation Materials Technology Co., Ltd. and Hubei Chaozhuo Aviation Technology Co., Ltd. The subsequent expert-enterprise exchange seminar was held in a lively atmosphere. Representatives of multiple aviation industry chain enterprises in the High-Tech Zone and overseas talent experts conducted in-depth discussions on key topics such as technological breakthroughs, talent training, and market expansion, reaching a number of cooperation intentions on site.
